Congratulations for deciding to fully experience the first TEDx event in Bratislava! TEDxBratislava is an all-day event, so please make sure that you reserve the entire Saturday on 29 May 2010.
In addition to having live speakers we will also play a number of TedTalk videos. All live talks will be simultaneously interpreted (via headphones) to English or Slovak. All TedTalk videos will be in English with Slovak or Czech subtitles.
Because TEDxBratislava is an event licensed by TED, the questions in the application follow TED rules. The registration is easy – after filling in and submitting the registration form you will receive an e-mail with instructions of how to pay for your ticket or T-shirt. You can pay a by a bank transfer or PayPal. After we receive your payment we send you a payment confirmation e-mail and further instructions and hints for your participation. We look forward to meeting in person at TEDxBratislava.

TEDxBratislava is a non-profit event. Our aim is to sell the ticket for the lowest possible price in order to enable as many interesting and inspirational people as possible to attend the event and become part of a community of people who are exceptional in their thinking and action. Volunteer for TEDxBratislava
If you like the philosophy and atmosphere of TED, you agree with the goals of TEDxBratislava, and would like to actively help with the preparation and running of the event, you can apply to be chosen as a volunteer. We appreciate the willingness and effort of every volunteer, however, before you choose to become a volunteer, be aware of the fact that as a volunteer at the event, you will have duties which will very likely prevent you from watching the talks or getting involved in the discussions during breaks.
