Become a part of TEDxBratislava. You can participate in several ways (as participant, sponsor, volunteer or local livecast organizer).

We are looking for active, perceptive and open-minded people from all fields who understand that it is not important what they will hear and keep for themselves, but how they will use all those thoughts.

Volunteer

The smooth progress of the event and the finalization of its videos owes a great deal not only to core organising team, but also to our volunteers. Volunteers are willing to spend some of their free days to help us with the organisation of the event.

You can contribute and become a part of TEDxBratislava 2011 in the following ways:

  • assistance with participants’ registration
  • preparation of the space
  • cleaning after the event
  • translation of TEDxBratislava videos’ subtitles
  • general help

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxBratislava, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxBratislava event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
